What is Zero Shot?
Zero Shot is a free, fan-made game for attendees of Codemotion Milan 2026, on 28 and 29 October. It runs in the browser on your phone: you pick an AI strain, spread it by scanning QR codes and climb the leaderboard.
Is it an official Codemotion app?
No. Zero Shot is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with Codemotion or with the AI labs that give the strains their names.
Who can play?
Codemotion Milan 2026 attendees. You sign in with the email address on your ticket and get a one-time code.
Do I need to install anything?
No app store. Open the link on your phone and add it to your home screen. That earns you 50 points, and turning on notifications earns 50 more and tells you when a treasure hunt starts.
How do I score points?
50 points for each new player who joins from your QR, 100 if they pick your strain. 10 points for each player you collect. Up to 250 points for finding a treasure QR first. Badges add bonuses on top.
Which strains are there?
Twelve: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, DeepSeek, Mistral, xAI, Meta, Moonshot Kimi, Zhipu GLM, Alibaba Qwen, Xiaomi MiMo and Cursor Composer.
Can I change strain later?
No. The strain you pick in the app is yours for the whole conference.
What can I win?
Badges, a spot on the leaderboard and gadgets such as holo stickers, which you pick up at the stand.
